Summary :

Rushcroft, Pevensey and Liverton Courts are all 8-storey blocks of flats with exposed deck access walkways to each floor to the rear of the blocks.

The walkways have painted concrete soffits and outer support columns which were displaying considerable amounts of spalling concrete, these defective areas were causing significant potential safety issues to residents and visitors of the blocks.

Refurbishment :   

Warden Construction limited secured the main contract works and JDF RS Limited were asked to undertake a hammer test survey to identify all areas of damage and defect to the walkway soffits and columns and provide cost advice on the likely repair costs.

On completion of the survey and approval of the costs, repair works were commenced to repair all defective areas using Sika repair mortars.
